This week in Literacy we are focusing on Author's Purpose and using headings and captions to predict what is going on in the story. We will also focus on plural and singular nouns. The spelling words are listing below:

16. creature 17. strange 18. scaly 19. peculiar 20. unusual

We are continuing our unit in Linear Measurement and focusing on perimeter and area.
In social studies the students are completing their map of the United States, which is in preperation for a unit on the five regions of the United States.
Science is still focusing on circuits and electricity - this week we will focus on the Scientific Process and inputting information into our notebooks.
